They were a parts manufacturer of GM parts, like brakes, cylinders and such. Making these components used various chemical processes I guess. A chemical storage area of 9 tanks of material were hauled out. After Delco left, the Brownfield firm never did a clean up. There were over 200,000 gallons worth of contaminated ground water in the area to to seepage from those tanks, as well as a few other types of exposures. From what I gathered, the firm is responsible to cover clean up fees at this facility since it was their job to make sure this didn't become an issue in the first place once Delco left.
