North Dakota's never been on my radar for a vacation spot, but your pictures make me want to visit Bismark.

As long as there's snow. Snow is the only thing that makes cold worthwhile.

Ice is way better than snow

I was kind of wrapping snow and ice in together. In Florida you see very little of either. The only time I ever saw icicles in Florida was back when I was in either first or second grade and somebody left the sprinklers on in a flowerbed in front of a roped-off area. And the one time it snowed in Florida during my lifetime, it was just flurries in another part of the state.
:iconsadtardplz: Nothing beats flopping into 2-3 feet of fresh powder. That was a good vacation. Except for when we caught Norwalk virus on the flight home. That sucked.

To me it is where the ice is at... snow is one thing but is so defined and unique....Id rather be standing out on the lake with 2' of ice that in 2-3 ft of snow
