I was kind of wrapping snow and ice in together. In Florida you see very little of either. The only time I ever saw icicles in Florida was back when I was in either first or second grade and somebody left the sprinklers on in a flowerbed in front of a roped-off area. And the one time it snowed in Florida during my lifetime, it was just flurries in another part of the state.
Nothing beats flopping into 2-3 feet of fresh powder. That was a good vacation. Except for when we caught Norwalk virus on the flight home. That sucked.
