Of course it's a happy ending.

You spent the last days of the vacation swaying your focus between your duties and that memorable night. But what are the chances? She's a princess. And you're... you. You should consider yourself fortunate that she didn't demote you. And quite lucky to speak to a princess as equal... To joke with her... to hear her laugh... to lend a shoulder... even to...

You keep telling yourself that... That night was just one of the unofficial duties you perform for her. To rule a kingdom is a tiresome work. The last of the luggage was packed into the chariot. "It's time to go, princess." You can't bring up your eyes to meet hers. She brings it up herself. She smiles at you. No, it's not the courteous smile when in the ballroom. No, it's not the friendly smile when she was with the now Princess of Friendship.

It was the smile of that night. She puts a feather on her lips with a "Shh" and winks at you.

What are the chances? You smile at the odds.

Did you come up with all that on the spot? 'Cause that combined with the music was a phenomenal experience. If I was wearing a hat it would come off for you my good man.  It would be interesting to see all that in a full story. You must teach me your ways.

Aww shucks. Thanks for the compliment.:icontongueblush:

But yes, it's one of the uncommon times that I came up with that on the spot. Emotion and imagination played a big part in the making, mostly because I was impressed by the picture and tried to describe the scene as best as I can. There's no set way to do it.

Read as many stories whether from professional writers or hobbyists, learn their unique writing style to improve your own. It's a neverending journey and these skills don't come overnight. Also, lots of practice by writing your own stories.
