In some cases that may be so that the bullies are over privileged children or even adults who are picking on those weaker than them But lidsworth is right. The bullies and the victims are both victims of something. It's just usually more obvious what the victims are victims of. The bullies though, they're victims of their own hatred, ignorance and cruelty. Even the over privileged ones are, there's no escaping being a victim of yourself. Because when you choose to be cruel to someone for no reason other than you see them as weaker than you or you see something in them you don't like it costs you. You lose a little bit of yourself in that bid for power over someone. This has nothing to do with hollywood movies or book cliches. I've seen it.
