Perfect! Done :) www.pinterest.com/pin/21525805…

Also, it really looks like one of those 1810s gowns is based on this: www.metmuseum.org/collection/t…

If so, are ALL the dresses in this timeline based on or drawing from extant historical dresses? :D :D :D

That dress was one of my references, yes! I used a mixture of reference books, fashion plates from the period, and existing dresses to come up with this timeline. I tried not to copy anything exactly, but if you frequent this blog: omgthatdress.tumblr.com/ some of them may seem familiar ;)  For most of them I tried to find colors/details/etc that seemed common for the period (for instance, the puffy-looking trim on the 1820s; plaid in the 1850s), but if I couldn't pin down one particular look I would just find a dress I liked and go from there.

I call that the "Regency Belle gown" cause it makes me think of Beauty and the Beast (the yellow and 'swooshes'...Disney has tainted my ways of seeing). Awesome, thanks for the link to the dress blog. I love knowing those kinds of little details about the puffy trim and plaid, too - thanks for sharing!
