I love the clean, bright colors which make the picture look like taken on the late afternoon of a sunny spring-day when the sun starts to set and everything's brightened by accents of this yellowish sunset-color.
Also it's a great detail that the character isn't worked out in detail but presented in form of a shilouette.
This makes it look like a pretty melancholic picture... Probably a villager left or a good friend went away after a visit of the town...
