I'll mention that next time I stop by the museum, should be easy enough for them to switch it.

sarcasm is unbecoming. and as someone who makes them for reinactment combat (you know, out of actual metal...) here is an example from the royal armoury in leeds.

research before being a dick.

Uhhh... who's being sarcastic? I was 100% sincere when I said I would mention your comment the next time I stop by the museum for a visit to see if they could open up the case and switch the piece around to be correct. I genuinely appreciated your comment. Your second one, not so much.

i appologize if i offened. i have had to deal with waaaay to many D-bags who think they know everythng about historical armor because they have played a few vidya games. i assumed your comment was :"well i have done all this research so you are wrong." rather than " I have seen a piece incorrectly displayed and wil bring it to attention"

Actually, in the photo of the reassembled suit, it looks like we got the couter on correctly in the end, so this must be a "before" photo I took immediately after removing the armor from the case. I'll have to find my old photos to see if I have a decent "after" photo to replace this one (or see if I can get permission to take another photo).

For now, I'll mention in the description that the couter is not on correctly until I can get a replacement photo up.
