yeah I do most of my own designs with nail lacquer now too, but with my new brushes I got told acrylic would be better for them.....easier clean up too!! right now I have some old brushes that are getting stiff because of the lacquer/remover

I don't know about acrylic on the whole, 'cause I used acrylic colors once or twice and the result was unsatisfactory. But I agree that usage of acrylic paint will be better for brushes. Good luck with your future designs)
