Thank you ^^ Dib is definitely Jedi lol. I'd never seen 'Star Wars' till this weekend, but my BF is a big movie nut and wanted to educate me, so to speak lol. I thought they were pretty cool.

I would go into the debate of why is Dib weilding a trainee lightsaber (blue) rather than a jedi master lightsaber (green), but blue makes more sense for him and you're new to Star Wars sooooo.....Im'a gonna shut up. XD

I thought the colors were about what your path was? Blue was Jedi guardian, green was consular and yellow was sentinel or something.
Not to my knowledge...... But I haven't watched it in a long time. XD
LOL! Why do you think Obi-Wan's lightsaber was always blue? But this information comes from the "Knights of the old republic" game where they explain the colors.

It was. But in all of the movies even episode 4 his saber was blue too and he was an old man by then. xd

I thought it was just some personal preference thing, like they just picked the color they like (I'd pick purple, like Laurence Fishburne's). Still, I agree that the blue one just suits Dib better.

I think once they started making the new movies, they introduced purple ones. 
But yeah, I'm no expert but I think that's how the color code goes. And red for the dark side, of course.
