Hey! Your references to Romeo and Juliet, the Iliad, helped a lot in understanding the look of the piece and it seems your execution is spot-on to me. It gives off that Greek-primitive vibe very well.

7 of wands can work too, and works well in terms of your Mythic Storylines. Just looking pictorially, the conquering, victorious, nature of the figure led me to see the Ace of Swords, but I suppose it would be more accurate to choose the King of Swords if we're sticklers ;) (Same energy, personalized.)

The Ace of Swords symbolizes THOUGHT as one of the four forces of Primordial Energy - that of scintillating or penetrating Intelligence. It represents the power of the mind to manifest reality. The energy is chimeric; be it highly violent with a cut-to-the-quick edge, or quiescent - dull and flat and useless. It is an Organizing Intelligence; pointed and acute. It rises from perceptions honed, dissected and analyzed, then put forth as action.

Thanks, it's good to hear the initial concept played out.

Hmm... The tarot associations are interesting. I'm at an oddly similar place to the interpretation of the Ace of Swords right now, in preparation for the taking action part of it...
