I thought this was another one of those troll accounts which posts terrible MS Paint drawing who pretend as if they are a god.
From looking through your stuff, I'd say stick to writing. Or hell improve your skills in traditional, a simple HB pencil and paper can really shine on a website filled with mediocre digital work.
I would care if someone improves from constructive criticism, it's similar to nobody story cliche.
He was nothing until something motivates him to do better ultimately resulting him proving his worth. Or however the cliche goes.
And, thanks I guess, reason being the guns I have are as you said well made is because guns are fucking awesome.
Try to focus on something that interests you, that's how I made all of my models, because I wanted my own TF2 shotgun.

There's no need to use a scanner, not all the time even, a simple picture of it on a phone even is good enough.
