Normally, Phil would be frightened, but at this point, nope. When a friend of Phil's is hurt, he is THAT determined to defend them. Heck, he could be facing Aku, Maleficent, Jeff the Killer, and Bill Cipher all at once, but he would still stand his ground and show his anger towards those who hurt those he cares about. Basically when you piss Phil off (really badly), it's like you unleash a Super Saiyan...a Super Saiyan whose family you murdered in front of him.
