1. Use a program to convert the filetype to compress the file, either make it .mpeg or mp4. I'm trying to find a safe program to use for myself. I used to use FreeMake before it's latest update. For 1280x720 (720p) the out file will be anywhere from 15+ GB. But this will ensure HD rendering and will be widescreen. Anything lower then 720p will seem rather unprofessional, or low standard compared to what is common now.
2. Yes it is, but you should read the readme if it comes with one, or the popup box when opening a file as it holds rules. Not all models are editable, and it's highly disrespectful to edit a non-editable model but most people on dA don't seem to care. You will need to use either PMDeditor or PMXeditor, you can get an English download here: PMDEditor 0139 and 0219 english translation (if you have problems please ask them not me, if you get an error like this then follow my own tutorial: pmdE pmxE Error Fix). Also if you need some tutorials for what you need I do have a collection for such an occasion here: razz-pixel.deviantart.com/favo…
Also if you try to edit any of my model edits please ask before hand, most of my newest ones are made with my own parts, meaning I made them myself in a 3d modeling program for that character. Such as this character in the deviation, I made it for someone while making almost everything myself.

Alright~ Also I highly suggest being smart on keeping your models in good organization. Please note that the way I organize is my method, create one that suits your tastes. Also I rename folders to keep track of characters and modellers if I get more then one kind of character model. My "Example".
You can change the size of your videos by clicking "view (V)" in MMD tab at the top then moving your mouse down once to "screen size (O)". A popup will open asking for size, the one you are using is one of the smallest quality. But hey it's higher then 240p and 144p.
Don't worry about the download thing at the top, try to check in the folders if they have "readme's" or look at the description of the model when you open it up in PMDe/PMXe as it says the name, or should say it somewhere.

Also one last thing, did you change your applocal to Japanese?

im back with question is that possible to change size of the model to appear smaller or younger ?
and what dose the model wear
is both will need PMX
thanks again

I'm sorry this took a while to reply, been off and on deviantART. If you haven't figured it out then I'll try to help.

There is a tutorial here: MMD Tutorial - How to make your own chibi (to make a face younger looking then you'll have to do extensive editing and I'm honestly not the person for that as I'm rather lazy with my facial editing. Sorry!)
And yes PMXeditor/PMDeditor are needed to edit any model!

Changing your Applocal to Japanese fixes the weird symbols, but this could be due to what version of windows you are using. I'm only used to vista through 8.

Alright~ I was giving a bit of an example since it's a pain looking for a certain model from a series when you have way more then a hundred models. orz

i use windows XP
and thanks a lot for teaching me :)
