Here's a funny coincidence: I just saw the movie for the first time last weekend.
I've been hearing so much about it for so long, especially from the "Wanna build a snowman?" meme used by a lot of brony artists to portray the Celestia/Luna relationship.
Finally, curiosity got the better of me; and I went and rented out the DVD from the only video store left in town.
Personally, I thought the movie was not bad. That snowman character was quite good, even though he was the token comic relief.
Now I hear that they're going to make a sequel. May not be as good as the original, though.
