Not anymore, lol. Starscream is ruler of Cybertron now in the IDW comics...and Megatron now has NO power of any kind except what his body can do.

Ok well...sounds interesting and all, but I still ship the rightful pairing of SS x WB.

I'm not talking about the IDW comics.........

I'm talking Prime Megatron in my own custom story.........

Ok well, that's fine. But Windblade first premiered in IDW, alongside Starscream. So there's that fact...

In my custom story, Windblade helped train Megatronus to defeat Soundwave. She's practically one of the founders of the Decepticons along with Shockwave, Soundwave, and Megatron.

Ok, and a Decepticon Windblade sounds VERY interesting (regardless of the fact of our different taste in which mech should have her). Where can I read this story? And where the hell is Starscream in it and what's his role in it?

It's still in development. I will post it soon enough along with the story of Elita One. It's basically a sort of "Tale of Two Cities" story where Windblade is a somewhat moral person whose hate for the Autobots comes from a reasonable place, and she tries to treat others, such as Predacons, humans, and other neutral parties with honor, whereas Elita One is the black-ops Gestapo-esque partner for Optimus who will do absolutely EVERYTHING to protect him...........even if it means lying to his face and doing nasty shit to the Decepticons and their human allies. Basically, she's one third 1950's housewife, one third Yuno Gasai, and one third Roose Bolton/Jack Bauer. The story focuses on the irony that Megatron, the Emperor of Destruction, gets a very moral person for his girlfriend, while Optimus Prime, the most moral and humane leader of the Autobots, gets a waifu who does things behind his back that he would barely be able to stomach, let alone tolerate.

The story is in the Aligned Continuity, so Starscream is still scheming to overthrow Megatron while smiling and waving at his face.

A Decepticon Windblade seemed natural to me, since her colors are black and red, and she has a purple sword. Black, red, and purple when combined are usually Decepticon colors. I made her into a Cybertronian High Councilor who took pity on the lower classes and who planned to use Megatron to shake up the High Council and force them to compromise and get rid of the Caste System. Then when they captured and tortured her for turning against them, she advised Megatron to "burn them all" if they didn't accede to his demands before she was put in stasis to heal her wounds. Which he did, in a sense. Ironic how this whole disastrous war started because of the words of someone who honestly just wanted to make Cybertron a better place. It truly does make the whole war a very tragic affair, since it started with the best of intentions.

In contrast, Elita One joined Optimus because she fell in love with him during the war; she was also a member of the Cybertronian High Council and she was Zeta Prime's twin/spark-sibling. She saw how Optimus rallied the Autobots and fell in love with him due to his bravery and courage, in contrast to her brother's scheming and politicking. But being a very military person, and an expert on black-ops operations, she's not necessarily the saintliest person in the room, if you catch my drift. The death of her brother and the fall of the civilization that she spent generations defending has had its detrimental effects on her moral restraints: she's more than willing to do icky shit in order to get things done, and she has her own patsies amongst the Autobots, including Grimlock, the Dinobots, the Torchbearers, and occasionally, Wreckers like Wheeljack. She uses her High Council status to override Autobot generals like Ultra Magnus so she can get what she wants done, even if it is outside of the accepted norms for Autobots.

Windblade's stasis coffin gets lost before she can be repaired, but it gets spotted by the Combaticons millions of years later, and they then get her back up into speed and she resumes leadership of the Decepticon forces outside of Earth's orbit, eventually bringing the Decepticon fleet to Earth to save Megatron right before Elita One's Autobot armada could destroy the Nemesis over NYC. Needless to say, the battle becomes catastrophic and brutal, with many buildings destroyed and thousands killed as Decepticon and Autobot titans and combiners wage war on the city streets, with the governments of the world helpless since both fleets can shoot down nukes rather easily.
