I am aware that many people post lengthy quotations on some dA groups I'm involved in. I have posted quotations myself. Making sure something is no longer copyright protected is the safest way to share things you come across. Giving credit is the second. Something is free, when it says it is free, otherwise, it is not "finders keepers, makers weepers." If you were a maker and it were your livelihood, you'd understand.
