That is redicilous.
Well, we're a lot tighter on gun laws over here, and an airsoft gun is classed as something that can cause bodily harm (along with a paintball marker). You need a Class H weapon licence, which covers things like handguns, to have an airsoft gun and importing the guns or the pellets is illegal.
i know they are a lot tighter over there. some of the rules just make me laugh and shake my head.
Pretty much the only people allowed to have a gun are police officers and farmers.
