Wow! Very informative tutorial/walkthrough! I'm going to let my 12 year old nephew read over this; he's just starting out in watercolours but has mentioned wanting to try his hand at both acrylics and oil painting as well.
I, myself, am going to have to try the grisaille technique for my next digital painting. I know it won't work exactly the same as it does with traditional painting, but I may get decent results by using pressure sensitivity and opacity layering with my Wacom drawing tablet.
