Comment on Iskierka meets Mei by Kooskia
Um... honestly i ever saw it as something of not particularly evil-scheduled.
If i'm right in the chinese royal counts there were concubines that had among their duties to make the young princes to learn all the arts of proper lovemaking: and more often they were not simply prostitute but something else.
This doesn't make Mei a "whore" (despite what Iskierka could say!XD) but something of pretty much "total": Mei being a teacher for Temeraire not only about history, poetry, arts, the proper royal-prince etiquette and behavior but ALSO on the mating techniques ..
One have to believe that it's a whole different culture-behavior different from the British..
(and surely different from the terms of judgment of a jelous turkish dragoness)
