I really like the pose and expressions of the cats, that contrast nicely with the expression of the white lady (who looks kinda sad and unfocused) as well as the contrast of their black fur to the white dress and skin of the lady who isguarded by them.
The whole picture creates a great, dark, atmosphere and seems to tell a story ... of searching? A loss?
I really enjoyed watching this picture for a while and trying to understand what it tells me.
