Writing in caps doesn't always mean shouting. He was just emphasizing on the word, so by mis-interpreting it, the rudeness kind of goes towards you.
A lot of people mistake droid for short of Android, but not Jam. He was merely asking for a Windows implementation.
Also, while dADroid APIs are not considered a bot, developers can actually use it to create bots.
dADroid-bot is an example.
Since it can be run on Servers, mobile apps can also connect to dADroid and use it, if it is required.
But the main usage will be a
Desktop Application running on one's computer, as
epelito said and
iamthejam already knows.
