How come your selling Sailor Moon fanart? Are you Naoko Takeuchi? Do you work for Naoko Takeuchi? Are you a friend of Naoko Takeuchi? Do you work for Toei, Vismedia or some other distributor? Do you have permission from Naoko Takeuchi or one of her legitimate distributors to merchandise her characters? If not why are you selling Sailor Moon Fanart and profiting off the hard work of someone else? Lastly who is this Patron site everyone's linking to and why is so much fanart for sale on there? True fan-artists get a bad name when people do stuff like that.

Actually, there's a huge difference between art for non-commerical and commerical use. No one claiming someone's characters as characters made by fan-artist, the original characters and all rights always belong to their original author (in this case, Naoko Takeuchi and TOEI). For example, this picture is 100% for non-commerical use (and the others too) + as description says, characters belong to their original author, not fan-artist or commissioner. In this case, this picture was made just for fun to make it printed and framed. Nothing bad.
Thinking in your way, then even just making fan-arts is questionable action, since fan-artists using other people's characters in their works.
If you don't like the fact of paying - actually, any kind of commission work has to be rewarded, and nothing strange when someone paying by asking doing some kind of work exactly for him/her ^_^ For example, when one friend asks other friend to re-draw famous painting is different style and technique just for fun and paying for it, or maybe bying him gifts/food/etc. as gratitude, since he spent a lot of time for this request, there's nothing strange. The same is here.
Hope you will understand~ Have a nice day!

Actually there was someone else on Deviantart that was selling Sailor Moon fanart to the public on the Patreon website and it was extremely expensive too. By the way I am not talking about people paying to have someone paint, or print a Sailor Moon pic, I am addressing those who paint Sailor Moon with the express goal of selling it to everyone which is commercialization. Note I only give friendly advice and truth be told I believe copyright law is too strong as it is, and they seriously need to get with the times aka archaic medieval laws don't work in 2016.
