Well it might have been nice if my parents had checked Sams holdall before they met us at the airport to hand him back after a half term holiday. Going through security it showed on X ray as having a gun inside - his metal cowboy gun which he had packed for himself. Great start to the trip!
OH NO!! Definitely not a good way to start a trip! 
This lady just 3 days ago was telling me that anytime she goes ANYWHERE on a plane or crossing a border she gets selected for further checking...she was telling me some of the stories, one about being confined in an airport security room in Mexico while they did a chemical test on some beach sand she had inadvertently put in her carry-on (or holdall). it was just a tiny bit and she meant to put in in her suitcase! Another time she got 'selected' at the Canadian border. I told her they must have her in some computer!!
