17 is late. It's one year away from adulthood. Or, in the world of HARRY POTTER, is adulthood.
if an 18 year old is an addult then a 17 year old is.its not like 17 year olds watch the wiggles and 18 year olds watch csi. an 18 year old and a 17 year old have basically the same maturatly level .a 17 year old is just as a capable adult as an 18 year old.why would you say a 17 year old is a kid and then 1 year later consider him an adult.its not like we got coming of age ceremonies or anything like that.
I was refering to the LEGAL AGE terms.
