Most of the examples DA staff gave us are recreation of scenes from the show or made for fun trying to recreate script with their imagination. I can see what the cosplayers were trying to do to show us the characters in their mind. They best present the show in a single image because the way the characters are represented is most likely how they are interpreted in the series.

The pictures shown in the persons comment i was talking to, has nothing cannonly written into the plot line. People say it is cannon, but therefore the script writters stopped it and didn't take it any farther... So after the end it is all fan creation and hence doesn't happen making the fandom portions a non important plot point to represent the show

Its not just "people" saying its canon, The writers themselves even say that Korra and Asami are canon. The only reason they didn't represent it more was the fear that representing the LGBT+ community further would get their show taken off the air, otherwise they would have. Not to mention nothing in the show was "planned", The only thing planned was Korra's story arch, everything else was improvised.

One last thing, It does not need to be canonically written into the show for it to represent the show. To name a few Raava and Vaatu aren't human, Korra isn't male and I don't recall Jinora ever being interested in Mako, all three made it into this list and yet are NOT canon. It doesn't "NEED" to be canon to represent show or even for fans to want to see more of.

Well..  You keep thinking your opinions and ill keep having mine in mind.... You obviously dont see what I am saying about the one persons comment, im am just trying to keep things civil so no one gets butthurt at the DA staff for doing nothing wrong... They are doing a fine job as is and people shouldn't force things on them if they don't want to post stuff like that

I am keeping things civil (I think?) lol I'm just saying it doesn't need to be canon to represent the show and all that other person was saying was they would appreciate more equal representation. regardless :) agree to disagree I suppose :p
