I do disagree with the "taken" part of the design, its nice to try to re-design it yourself from scratch. But good work either way 
I've done many web designs from scatch, my own one without stealing from other people, but this header inspired me alot and I had to take a part of it. Actually, I got it all apart. I re-draw everything from start and made it the way I like it. By the way thank you for your feedback, I appreciate it
