I actually have an ink pen and coloring material. Problem is, I usually draw in my skeych book and its sheets don't allow me to do much beyond a simple sketch.
do you have ordinary printing/blank paper?

yep. you can always slip or stick it into your sketchbook.
Eh, I can use the printing paper instead. I can always use the book to pratice before the final result.
