Yes it is... but I heard they no longer consider it to be a planet because it's so small. So I highly doubt it.
You sure you don't mean Pluto? I still consider it a planet for various reasons, but officially it isn't. Mars, although smaller than Earth, is not that small so I think they still categorize it as a planet.
