Absolutely! At the beginning of the year I looked back over my gallery to realise I hadn't painted
a single thing for myself all year. It kind of stunned me a little so I made a decision that was not going to be the
case this year and I'm much happier now I am making time for these. They're so cathartic and like you say from the
heart and soul. I love doing commissioned pieces but they're not expression and all of a sudden art is work, not love.
