Hmm I guess "demanding others to follow their rules" is another thing (I mean, it's different from micromanaging, isnt it?? From your statement I think that micromanaging is more like a manipulative way, a really clever method to have a "puppet" indeed).
Now that I think about it... I dont know but I often find it useful in some situation... (but not that we transform people into puppet, I mean the "manipulative" part only) Like when we're working in a group and we have to finish some almost-impossible tasks within a really little time, and there's no room for discussion. Some people do manipulate the others to think the way they do, so that they can agree with the method and start working immediately (which I think is not bad). My friends who do it are usually the considerate ones who think about justice and efficiency, so well I dont mind
I realize they tried to manipulate me some time but since it's for greater good then I agree to go with them.
But I do know some other people who manipulate others for their own good and satisfaction, well I think those are the bad ones
