"I'm not fingerpointing at you, my dear" - you only didn't mention my nick.
"the whole situation would fit"
- but it don't, because it didn't happen and I would not do that. Neither I said a word about the contest results. You are -again- trying to make me look like a bad person and randomly bring up my "usual behaviors", which -believe it or not- doesn't come out of blue either.
" you could even kill the other amateur/less quality artists motivation because of your quality standards..." - Here are the only cases when I judge quality of somebody's pictures:

- When they submit pictures to specific groups with a quality control
- When they request a critique themselves
- When these are entries to my own contests.

What you're probably having in mind are my journals, which doesn't judge people's art skills either. You won't find a single word about an artist being unskilled in any of them.

Now for your idea:
in SFM group there's a quality control up, which always gives a critique and solution for every declined picture. You wouldn't know about it because your pictures are good enough.
Creating a new folder or a whole new group would come as nothing but a great offense to everybody who thinks they are good enough. Besides, how would that be called? "SFM for beginners"? "Below-average SFM"? I know people who work in sfm for years, but they hardly improve, so suggesting to submit such pictures there would cause nothing good.
And everybody's welcome to come any to admins of SFM group and request a critique. Would not be right to come to somebody's picture and judge the skills out of blue, eh? Believe me that neither me or any of the "big bad bullies of DA" do that. They only go for a subject of the picture.

Ok, ok ok. Sorry for the late reply tho, I just came back from my today's teaching practice.

I understand now and I see your reasons. I don't see you as a bad person. Just a part of your behaviour isn't that good. I don't hate you for anything beside that strict quality standards. So I think we are fine now.
As long as you provide others with reasons of rejecting their arts or you give any advice, that's fine. Thank you for your time tho and explaining everything :)
peace? :hand-shake:

I'm kind of person who really likes helping others and mostly trying to be nice to others, that's why this idea popped in my mind. And don't get me wrong, the main subject of a new group such like this would be -> beginners. People who just started working with SFM (or have any problems with it) and really need help of experienced users. It could be good since they could get all answers in one place. Everything big once was small :) Well it doesn't even need to be a group. It may be a single journal post and in comments they could give links to their arts asking for any advice or help. I think most of them is just too scared to ask more popular artists here...I know some of these artists wouldn't even give any feedback. Like Sync. senpai never noticing you, lol.

We aren't careless about newbies in SFM as well. That's why:
1. We give the critique ourselves upon submissions
2. keep a folder like this up and open: sourcefilmmaker.deviantart.com…
3. Some admins create guides and tutorials themselves.

If you want to help, the best offer I have for you is to join Admin's table in SFM group. The question is, can you handle yourself in a role of writing critique to people everyday, even to the ones who don't even seem very grateful about it?

Not my call though. Gotta talk with :icondillydong: about it.

And we good. I never hold any grunge.

Well only if I could have more time...See, I'm finishing my 3rd year at Uni now and I hope for less rush for 4th year. I couldn't be able to help literally everyday if that's ok. I could try my best tho. Ofc I don't like arguing with people as well and it all depends on how the person will react. On if he does or doesn't want the help...

No worries, I understand.

I can confirm on what Menaria has said.  I have followed many of the tutorials.  I've even asked Menaria, herself, to critique one of my pics.  If it wasn't for the help of a few of the 'big' artists here, I wouldn't have gotten as far as I have with SFM.
