Or just get a new comp/wait until you have one that can run it? I just run ARK on my mom's boyfriend's machine or use my Windows 8 HP despite my hatred of that OS. ARK uses about a minimum of 4.5GB RAM, too.
HP computers with a dedicated graphics card can run ARK, an Alienware could likely run it or a Desktop PC. I've never refunded a game, I've only waited until I had something that could run it.

This is a new lenovo computer, a desktop pc, I got it for my 15th birthday that was only two weeks ago. My dad says that he will see if he can upgrade my dedicated graphics card, but he's being an ass right now by keeping me waiting.
