Well think about it, she projects a giant hologram of herself, Medusa is huge, Palutena projects a giant projection of herself to throw an island, and even Hades is ginormous.
for the record i would have preferred a Medusa's Belly level over Hades', and not for reasons you'd think. I just feel that they didn't give Medusa enough screentime. She got like, a level and a half worth. Wouldn't have hurt to give her more.

And Viridi projected herself after the first Reset Bomb too.
Yeah, Medusa, despite being the first KI's main villain, should have gotten more time in one way or another. That's mainly why I was hoping her over Dark Pit for Smash. ...maybe they'll surprise us and she'll be DLC, but seems unlikely.

Nahhh see, I think Viridi's belly would've almost been out of place. We also never see her in person.

I also think it would've been really fun with Medusa, because we could have gotten a fun animation with her having a snake like tongue, wrapping it around Pit's leg, whiping him around a bit, then pulling him in. IT would've been like a scene from Dead Space 3, actually, a very cinematic nom. I always find those fun.

Animated? It'd be unlikely unless there was a Medusa model of reasonable quality made for SFM.
