Y'know, "Putler" rhetoric really seems ridiculous. Especially when you consider that there are some Russians saying that Putin hates Russians because of large Central Asian/Caucasian immigration into Moscow and the entire existence of Ramzan Kadyrov.
Now that I'm talking about Central Asia, when the referendum on preservation of the Soviet Union was held, Central Asian SSRs had the most voters saying "Yes" (roughly 94%, 95%, 96%, 97%, 97% and 98% for Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Karakalpakstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan respectively). USSR collapsed and look what happened to Turkmenistan - they got a wacko named Saparmurat Niyazov as leader!
