Yeah, the site changes are a mixed bag; I'm not sure I like that recent one where you can track what a person
'd. On the one hand it does increase exposure but it can also replicate my common hangups with Facebook/Tumblr. ("I watched you to watch you, not your reblogs!!" basically) 
Two of my favorite features are the Find Random and Undiscovered.
You really never know what awesome unknown artists you'll run into...!Interaction is definitely important! That's why OC commissions are always a big deal (the act of sharing an idea goes a long way) and the Flash game here and there get a lot of attention. Right now I just let my followers know I can be counted on to answer each and every one of their comments, but in the future I'd like to branch out and do more interactive stuff (like when I learn animation~)

Speaking of, I absolutely LOVE doing oc stuff! I'm sorta obsessed with it, honestly I love to draw ocs of friends (and of course, my own!). It's a tough thing to manage, since people love fan art, but I find it more fulfilling than drawing that most of the time. Fan art is wonderful, but I avoid expose myself through it. I feel that doing so will only attract people from those specific fandoms as opposed to anyone who likes my character art. My fan art is just a bonus! XP
Your future plans sound super awesome! People LOVE animation and interactive art. Not just on this site, but in any! It's just so cool to see young animators do their thing

Oh yeah? I'm obsessed with OC stuff too. XD; I did that giant crossover groupshot as a "Thank You" art for Christmas 2013

Videos and movement in general just does more to bring characters to life! It's a lot more work andfrustration patience, but that's the price the artist pays.
