Hmm, I too plan to be an indie game developer one day too focusing on graphics, animations, music, story, programming, etc but it's definitely not an easy path.
Most works on me page are fanarts by one of my favourite indies, Jun'ya Ota. He is legendary for (not his artwork XD) his music(mostly music), story and characters(mostly characters too). Also famous for drinking loads of beer to improve his musical skills. He said it himself. XD
Also one fanart by another indie I look up to, Jeff Vogel. Great story in Geneforge. A mashup of Sci-fi Medieval Fantasy sumthing sumthin' lol. You know, loads of biological weapons like living turrets, doors and landmines.
And I gather inspiration from other games and by watching a YouTube channel called ExtraCredits, giving tips for game programmers whether they are indie or working for the AAA industry.
Also, my artworks still aren't that good. I still try harder to improve. Practice makes perfect.
And for programming, I am derping at Scratch, ultra basic tool for games and I can hardly program an arrow to destroy a knight. And I don't even type code lels.
And my animations are not that good either. Need more time to practice. XD
But anyways, good luck! You will definitely become much better in years to come and one day, you will be proud of your future project.
p.s. I don't find all the writing annoying. Look at me, typing so much. XD
