Yes I feel you buddy, I am in the same case, just staying in all day looking at videos to wash the other emotions away, but in my case I will feel bad for not doing anything and then I make art, look at others people work and get sad that I am not like them, I agree with you friends is the best medicine for this case, just in case you feel any sad -highfive- <~> sorry if I am awkward(I always worry so much when I talk to people even online._.)

Do not worry about your artwork, even if you think it looks bad, it could just be an artstyle. Sometimes I look at old successful shows with not very good or great artstyle, but they are still successful. :3

Of course, it's kinda difficult nowadays due to competition and people trying to get better. But once in a while, intentional bad artstyle and deliberate use of bad grammar is funny to see for a change after seeing too many epic/beautiful artwork/stuffs. XD

and I guess you need not worry too much about being awkward in conversations. Sometimes I feel that way but I try to change that, and probably tend to talk too much. Derp. XD

I feel you, always ending up talking so much, I love how you are like "your stuff is shiet...but unique"xDDD, it's hard for me to focus on the art only when I have to make the music and programming, and I haven't even started animation yet, it's going to be bad but like all beginners you have to fail first to get better, I just worry that I am doing a bit too much for me to handle, most people first games are like a ball platform or some silly short stuff, but I want to write the story make different stages etc, (but of course it's going to be short) the thing is I don't know how to get better.-. no tutorials help, I saw your stuff and it's great._. how did you get so good? Just by making stuff on your own? Because I see other people and I am like "WTH NO TUTORIAL CAN TEACH YOU THAT">-> I am talking to much againxD, I was trying to be short but I guess that's mission impossible, what's hard for me the most is that I think something but when I try to draw it it looks nothing like how I imagined it.Sorry I am being annoying writing so much <-> Have a  great day.-. and thanks ^-^

Hmm, I too plan to be an indie game developer one day too focusing on graphics, animations, music, story, programming, etc but it's definitely not an easy path.

Most works on me page are fanarts by one of my favourite indies, Jun'ya Ota. He is legendary for (not his artwork XD) his music(mostly music), story and characters(mostly characters too). Also famous for drinking loads of beer to improve his musical skills. He said it himself. XD
Also one fanart by another indie I look up to, Jeff Vogel. Great story in Geneforge. A mashup of Sci-fi Medieval Fantasy sumthing sumthin' lol. You know, loads of biological weapons like living turrets, doors and landmines.
And I gather inspiration from other games and by watching a YouTube channel called ExtraCredits, giving tips for game programmers whether they are indie or working for the AAA industry.

Also, my artworks still aren't that good. I still try harder to improve. Practice makes perfect. :D
And for programming, I am derping at Scratch, ultra basic tool for games and I can hardly program an arrow to destroy a knight. And I don't even type code lels.
And my animations are not that good either. Need more time to practice. XD

But anyways, good luck! You will definitely become much better in years to come and one day, you will be proud of your future project. :D

p.s. I don't find all the writing annoying. Look at me, typing so much. XD

I guess I am kinda the same to be honest, many of my stuff are inspired by others, with some changes or mixes,I think if you plan to be without a team its best if you focus on one aspect and when it's done you go for the other, so for example focus on learning graphics and when you are done and learned you go for music, and don't say your art is not good>-> it's great in my opinion, and don't think I am a good programer neither, I am probably at your level, and wow for once I didn't write that muhxD, DONT respond this time poor Bubble Driver will have comments of our conversation instead of her fansxD I can tell you like to write but you can resist I believe in you <->xD, wish you the best of luck. :E
