What's culture like ITTL? Do they look like your typical 19th-early 20th century asian or is their fashion so outworldly that a dimensional traveller form OTL would find it hilarious?

1. How exactly did the mongols "conquer" europe? By installing a bunch of puppet kingdoms or direct control?
2. Why does kemet have this name if it is majority muslim, and muslims were not fond of the old polytheistic egyptians?
3. What was the kind of government adopted by grand yamato during its early history? Did it possess political parties already?
4. The muslims in rum are not the turks, are they?

3. Its early history? A monarchy with shoguns occasionally calling the shots. There are no political parties as we know them in this world, just factions that form in government.
4. They are Turks.

So, does that mean that this world is technologically in the late 19th century, but politically, it is backwards, with a peculiar ammount of autocracies?
