No, I don't have windows computer in my house, so I depend to the windows computers in university. Is funny how those computers are very powerful (although windows don't detect all the RAM that they have) and run normal programs slower than my laptop.. I only have access to them monday, tuesday and thursday (lunes, martes, jueves).
Seems a delicate software (is still in alpha) and I think it requires good driver/GPU. The version of WINE I have can't manage new drivers (for example I cant play with chromeexperiments because it requires webgl.
I think this can only get worse for my computer and better for everything else, because we could do in some years amazing things.
I am waiting for the stacked 3D processor!!! But we know how that will go: first we can't afford it and once we do we get programs for which our processors are JUST insufficient, like it is now And the boxplorer...we might have to wait for the beta
I have a long comment here, but it got clean after a browser crash... In fact, I found out that my comment wasn't true, although in sourceforge there are changes only until 2013 I found that there is a port compatible with occulus rift. Seems that there is more programs derived from there:
WOW... You are a born researcher! I will check them all! Will begin by downloading the souceforge-zip
And I am sorry you lost your whole comment! Happens to my often too... but most times because of an error of myself instead (for instance when editing and quickly checking another url... )of the computer! ;}
I think the sourceforge is the first, and then they moved to google code with the appportations (aportaciones) of Marius. Seems that they tried to add a HUD or do some changes, but I don't know. The occulus support seems promising, I don't think is still and alpha that version.
No problem for my comment, I was my fault, too many tabs also because of this I found the fractal lab
