Thank you!

No, I imagine most of the gear will be made out of some durable, but very flexible synthetic material. The heavier and thicker pieces such as the shoulder plating on Tanea would most likely be some kind of carbon nanostructure material. They all need to be very lightweight since the world they explore isn't very easy to move around in (which is also why they have so many karabiners and coils to help keep the team and their gear together). I'm not even sure if the weapons should have any metal in them, I guess with futuristic material tech ther will be better options.

Hopefully you didn't take the "Metal Gear" as in actual gear that is metal. If so, i meant as in the Metal Gear series. Most of the suits in the series seems to follow similar designs, such as one piece suits, some sort webbing, and of course, covering the whole body. And about being lightweight and all, other suits, specifically exo suits, from what i think are heavy on the outside but those using it might find it easy due to the muscle actuators inside, which also increases their overall performance. That is if you were in an exo suit, judging that you are fully human. Those who are cybernetic might not have as much problems since their suit is most likely their body.

Then again, i don't know how the world you created works at all.

(Some fact on the parasite suit: users relies on the parasites that is contained in cartridges. They can give armor, stealth camo, and a mist that surrounds the area that hinders site. Actual operators-not some guy using it- don't use cartridges but those inside of them. So their actually defense and abilities come from the parasites that live within them.)

I did understand that the Metal Gear series of games was very possible what you were talking about. However, since it was badly communicated, I chose to instead actually respond to the alternative. Why the gear should not be metal, in contrast to the Metal Gear games, is something I actually know something about ;)

As a further note, I don't mind at all if people compare what I do to one of their favourite ip's. In fact, that is really flattering. Even if I don't personally enjoy or care much about it, I still enjoy to be compared to a production with much larger resources, skill and knowledge than I possess. But it's probably almost always a misstake to assume that someone will enjoy and know something as intimately as oneself just because oneself likes it that much. It's kind of the same logic why most people don't want to get sent pictures of genitalia from random people.

This world has not been built by me, but by my client (see description). What I did was improve the graphic readability, distinction and functionality of the characters suits, but personally I enjoy your thoughts about both cybernetics and exoskeleton solutions. In fact that's what I like to do a lot when I draw my own stuff, and quite possibly if it had all been up to me I'd have thrown in at least a couple of prosthetic limbs in these designs hahahaha.
