A rather pertinent question to be raised here is that if someone very clearly does not wish to be labeled as someone who would do things (or support ideals) that the Nazis did, why would they go out of their way to be rendered as a Nazi? ^^"

Anyway, such philosophical queries notwithstanding, looks like a rather good uniform. Their ideals might have been quite troubling, but they sure did know who to hire to design their uniforms. Also making for a smashing sketch by Mitchel and Webb.
Nice work, though I must ask if the details of the rank symbols and trinkets and all that were asked by the commissioner to be literally picture perfect or if that was an artistic choice?

The collar rank is the one Ernst Rohm added, for himself, after the NSDAP came to power. The tie pin is the gold pin given to those who had joined the party from the earliest days. The pocket badge if I recall correctly a gold wound badge.

Yes, they all look quite authentic, though begging your pardon are they not literal photos of the medals and awards places into the otherwise hand-drawn picture?
