I'm only glad that my thoughts on your drawing was what you were going for when painting it. I'm surprised that it hasn't been added to people's favourites more often - I find it to be a very beautiful and powerful piece of art.
I really love the medieval period in history. I especially love to read about England and France in the middle ages. As for a couple I would like to see - well, I really love Joan of Arc/Gilles de Rais and Heloise/Abelard. It could be awesome to see what you could make of these couples. But I'm sure it would look beautiful - all your art is always beautiful!

I too was wondering why this hasn't gotten as much traffic as some of my other pieces, but then 
has also done some 14th century portraits which are also kind of neglected. I'm wondering if people into medieval stuff tend to be more interested in fantasy than historical stuff...? *shrug*

You are probably right about most people being more interested in fantasy than historical stuff. I also love fantasy, but historical fashion, people and periods are just awesome. I love spending time reading about history and drawing/painting historical portraits or scenes from novels set in historical periods. History just makes me happy!

It's a shame you don't have time to do any more of the elaborate medieval portraits. But I understand that work takes up all your time. I just have to say that the portraits you have done are very amazing and beautiful.

Well, I wouldn't mind doing more elaborate medieval portraits if somebody paid me. But I doubt I'll find that on dA! 
You never know! If I had more money I would be sure to pay you to do some medieval portraits. One can never get to much of beautiful historical artwork. Maybe one day!
