I have a Canon 350D, I was thinking of buying a Sigma 10-20 so I wanted to know what you thought about the Canon EF-S 10-22. There is quite a difference in price soo, but I've checked out the Sigma at flickr.com and asked a lot of the people in the groups there. But I still can't decide...
Well they say that the Sigma 10-20 lens is a great lens actually but not as good as the Canon 10-22 lens. The Canon lens has better colors and it's really sharp. But I'm still a amateur photographer so maybe I should settle with the Sigma.
Haha, okay personally, I must say that the 10-22mm is really sharp. I got a magazine some days ago and it reviews many different wide-angle lenses. They reviewed the Canon 10-22mm and said that the sharpness was amazing. Also, the distortion of light near the ring was not serious at all and the lens was perfect for landscape shooting.
Alright, sounds great!
Ahh, I still can't decide on which wide-angle lens that I want. I'm still an amateur. I'm also thinking of buying a 50mm one for portrait shots.
I tried the 50mm f/1.2 lens, and it feels so different because I am so used to the zoom lens, while this one can't zoom at all (fixed). It is very cheap though and it is perfect for portraits...
And finally last week I bought the tele-lens 55-200mm
Haha, you are really buying a lot of new lenses . Well I just got my 50mm and I know what you mean, I'm also used to be able to zoom when ever it's needed. Do you have a flickr account or something like that or do I have to go to AW8.net every time I want to check out your photos?
You really have to go to aw8.net to check my photos, but I am renewing the photo section now since I am adding more and more there, and I will note you back when it is done with easier navigation
