Comment on PMD: VF - 401 - A Beginning by sulfurbunny

As someone who's used the stuff before, I think it might be zinc sunblock (ex. Zinka) – it scatters/reflects/absorbs ultraviolet light. If it were black, it would be absorbing all the light and quickly getting uncomfortably hot.

(It also comes in a variety of neon colors, but I doubt Wes would be wearing one of those.)
