Me too, your work on the backgrounds is phenomenal, Ghibli-like. Best backgrounds for my taste are those of Akira by the way 
That's true, the lights and colours of akira are gorgeous (probably for sci-fi effect)
My backgrounds definitely are more natural (and most ghiblis are about nature, if I remember well) But I should try harder to do different things èué
