Wow this is amazing :) I'm watching the redraw and wow, you are TALENTED :hug:

Yea it is true that not many people know there are so many Christian messages in A Christmas Carol :) It's awesome! Always such a great classic to read that makes you think, laugh, cry and smile all at once :D

Thanks for the compliment, honestly I kind of forgot about the watch redraw button. It's just missing the drawing I drew and used as the background. My hand hurt after most of that though because all I had was a wireless mouse. I'm hoping to get a drawing tablet, but I don't see myself getting one soon. :) I used a lot from what I learned over the years. Like using purple or dark blue to create darkness (although I made the Ghost of Christmas Future pure black to help him stand out a bit). And I love using the smearing tool.

There are a ton of awesome Christian themes and messages in A Christmas Carol, and I only listed a few in the description. And I can understand Marley's fate in a Christian context. As Christians we were called to spread throughout the world and share the gospel. Marley told Scrooge that mankind was his business, along with benevolence compassion, and mercy, and that his business in money was only a drop in the ocean of his business. But since he never left his worldly greed, he has to travel the world and only watch what he should have done in life.

You're very welcome :) oh wow hope your hand heals soon  that's good that you've used your tablet so much and you've learned how to color correctly ^^

Wow I've never thought about the true meaning of Marley's fate. Ya know that makes a lot of sense. It really brings a light to a hidden message I would have never guessed. :D

lol my hand it's broken, just tired. I think I may have worded things wrong (my bad lol) I never had a tablet, I just used a mouse (except for the traditional drawing I used for the base).

Yeah it's really interesting. I'm not sure how ghosts would fit in Christianity (I need to read my Bible more), but A Christmas Carol does offer up a good explanation. It makes sense for unsaved ghosts (who were particularly bad) to end up wandering the Earth to witness what they should have done in life.

lol thanks. I'm glad it was a wireless mouse though, The cord would have made it a little harder.

There are also hints that Marley his his eternal torment involved with Hell. He came from the cellar basement of Scrooge's home, and... "There was something very awful, too, in the specter's being provided with an infernal atmosphere of his own. Scrooge could no feel it himself, but this was clearly the case; for though the Ghost sat perfectly motionless, his hair, and skirts, and tassels were still agitated as by the hot vapor from an oven." which seems to imply where Marley was (or still is) before meeting Scrooge.

Oh yea the cord would have definitely made things harder. They always get in the way xD

Oh wow I forgot about that. Then again it's been a long while since I've read the book :p
