Not supporting lgbt =/= homophobe

In christianity, Islam and judaism, you can't support lgbt but you can respect them

i think nayzak has a point. he has his own views and beliefs, but that doesnt mean he's supposed to believe it in a certain way to make certain peeps happy. i do not understand homosexuality, nor will i go to pride parade, or say they are entitled to special treatment because i believe everybody should be treated equally. it does not mean im a homophobe, it just does not mean i prefer to claim to believe in something that i do not understand, but i do believe everybody should be treated with human dignity and compassion
What point? That gays should be criminalized? Because that was his point.

There's nothing to understand about being gay. Probably you never experienced it, and you don't know what is to live as one in a society that wants to harm you for it. That kind of mentallity he holds is what gets LGBT+ people killed and abused in the long run. It's a very dangerous thing. There's no good reason to do that.

did he say that he supported killing gays?
Not explicitly. But he supports criminalizing them. And criminalizing them generally implies killing them as legally happens in Saudi Arabia and Iran.

i think both of you have a valid point, and the other ordeal is origin, does he live in the middle east now where certain things are being taught. are you verbally attacking someone who all of their life is taught a certain way, and a random person such as you or me , to tell him that something is being taught is wrong? in certain countries, homosexuality is a crime, however what is worse, us wanting to attack (even verbally) the person because of something he was raised to believe, or to show human kindness and be the better person? i promise, im not trying to troll or attack, but sometimes praying for a person, or showing human dignity is much better than the abrasive approach. i do not think hating on anybody because of their lifestyle, color or whatever solves anything, but sometimes, understanding where the person is coming from, and being a person of compassion shows a better example
As far as I'm concerned, people were already kind to him trying to reason with him that what he was spreading is totally hateful. It didn't work of course. And also he got to make art about how women that don't dress up as Allah mandates are asking to be raped. Honestly I think there's no excuse whatsoever for rape, and neither there is for homophobia.

I was telling others though that he's a homophobe, since I know there's no point in reasoning with him, but at least it could help some people to be aware he's not the compassionate and tolerant ray of sunshine they think he is. Because you know, some people do have a tendency to condemn something when it's done by a Christian (not saying that they're justified of course because they can be as dangerous and hateful) but when it's a Muslim that does the same they immediately throw LGBT+ people under the bus.

maybe one day, he'll have the opportunity to be out of his own environment and see a broaden perspective ...who knows...
