Heh, well there's a dictionary term for harem that isn't at all relevent to this image, but in short, it's a group of men or women that are present for the sake of the one they belong to. You can interpret that however you like, but for this image, (as I described in the very long description posted below it) I gathered my favorite anime men for Serenity to command, in any way she sees fit! . I hope that makes sense! It's all in good fun!
