Have you heard what some of John Burgmeier's --Doro's VA-- other roles are? Shigure from Fruits Basket and Youko Kurama are two of them, and both are human/dogs. XD
(Well, Youko is a fox technically, but close enough)
He's also Hugue in Trinity Blood, who's a swordsman. I'm seeing a pattern here.
