Endurance Run-OlenArcher drew the rain jacket closer around him, grumbling as he continued to tack up Olen. The large tundra female turned and cast an almost concerned glance at him, but he patted her shoulder and all was well. Archer did not appreciate having fur during rainstorms, and today was no exception. What had been a steady drizzle when he had rode Olen out to where the event would take place was now a downpour- and Archer was seriously considering investing in a large rain slicker that both he and Olen could wear at the same time. A slight shudder that started at Olen’s flank turned into a full on shake, splattering Archer with flying water and sending him staggering away from Olen, trying to shield himself from the additional water. A volunteer that was approaching him with a set of laminated papers paused outside of the area that Olen was shaking before walking over to Archer, who accepted the sheets.
