Errrm. That is a difficult question. Some of my favourite versions (for different reasons) are the book, the 1925 film... the ALW musical of course (the 25th anniversary edition with Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess being my favourite cast)... I also love The Phantom of the Paradise and the 1990 version with Charles Dance.
